Rights Based Approach Society
Is a registered voluntary organization working for the rights of the children not only in National Capital Territory of Delhi but at the National and International level as well. We believe in establishing an implicit, explicit and forward looking vision of the ‘RIGHTS BASED APPROACH’ programmes, with inbuilt centralised advocacy and research component that would advocate about specific issues related to children & young people. We commit to create awareness, sensitisation and advocate about children’s rights with striving towards initiating public discourse on issues related to children and education and act as a consultancy with respect to other organisations working in the field of education and child right issues.
We aim at:
Acting as a consultancy and resource centre for State and Central Government, Non Governmental Organisation’s (NGO’s), Academic Institutions, Individuals, Researchers and Public on Educational issues and Child Rights issues.
To develop advocacy & networking strategies and to strengthen the knowledge base through Research and Documentation as an ongoing activity in this discourse.
To provide for education, develop skills and improve the living conditions and livelihood by assisting for a sustainable and durable development, with special focus on living conditions of the children and support their access to schools.
To provide a platform as a website under the aegis of the society whereby the entire spectrum of special education would be catered. The target is to focus on varied areas of special education. The website would act as a resource for all (Parents, Teachers, Professionals, and Students) and would off late emerge as a portal with details of the special educators available in India.
